More than one person can cook in the kitchen at once, and the long table seats everyone at the same time. When the family is larger than the lodge, there is room on the land for camp trailers and tents.
Arrive stocked. The nearest full grocery store is 45 minutes away in either direction. We can also have groceries waiting when you arrive.

Six bedrooms that are not interchangeable
A reunion fails on sleeping arrangements more than on anything else. The bedrooms here are different from each other on purpose, so the assignment sorts itself out.
Madison’s Room is on the main floor, so nobody who struggles with stairs has to use them. Nora’s Room is a studio over the garage with its own entrance, for the couple who wants distance or the person who has to work. The Window Room, Harper’s Room, and Jane’s Room are upstairs off the landing, which is where the children should be. The Study is a sixth sleeping space on the main floor with curtains instead of doors.
Four of the six bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom. There are six bathrooms in total. That is the number that decides whether 20 people can get out of the house in the morning.
How we handle a group larger than the lodge
The lodge sleeps a set number of people. The property holds far more, and this is the part most rentals cannot do.
There is space for two or three camp trailers, each with electric, water, and sewer hookups. There is a second graveled area near the gate for extra trailers, boats, and towed vehicles. There are flat, cleared camping pads on the land next door.
So the family that brings a trailer parks it and plugs it in. The cousins who camp put up a tent 200 feet from the door. Everyone still eats at the same table. Nobody drives 45 minutes to a motel.
Tell us your total headcount when you inquire. Overnight capacity is set by beds, and we work out the rest with you.
One kitchen, one table
The kitchen is open, with an island, a full-size range, and counter space for more than one cook. That last part is what a group of 20 actually needs.
The dining table is one long table beside the kitchen and it seats the whole group at the same time. There is no children’s table unless you want one.
There are plates, bowls, glasses, and flatware for 16 people at once, plus kid-size cups, plates, and cutlery. Two grills sit on the deck, and the deck seats the group for dinner outside.
The ages at both ends
For small children we keep two pack-n-plays, a high chair, a booster seat, kid-size plates and cutlery, and step stools for the bathroom sinks. The game room has a children’s play area, board games, and puzzles.
For grandparents, the main floor has a bedroom, a bathroom, and the family room, with no stairs between them.
For everyone in the middle there is the movie theater, the sport court, the disc golf course, and the firepit.

The nearest full grocery store is 45 minutes away, in Flagstaff to the north or Payson to the south. Shop on the way up.
Clints Well is about 15 minutes away and covers what you forget. We can also have groceries waiting in the kitchen when you arrive — that is on the add-ons page.
How to book
Talk to us directly, not through Airbnb or Vrbo.
Book an ordinary stay on whichever platform you like. An event is different. Airbnb and Vrbo are built to sell nights, and their rules limit what we can plan with you inside a booking. We cannot coordinate an event through a platform message thread.
So email us instead. We answer vendor questions, catering questions, and equipment rental questions ourselves, and we can tell you who we already work with locally. None of that fits in a booking request.
Do this early. Groups that write to us a year out get the date they want and a plan that fits the property. Groups that ask three weeks out get whatever is left.
