For a party of six or eight, one lodge beats motel rooms in Flagstaff. You get a kitchen at four in the morning, somewhere to dry boots, freezer space, and everyone under one roof. Midweek and shoulder-season dates are normally open, which is when most hunts fall.
There is a safe on the property should you need access, room to park trailers and side-by-sides, and hookups if you bring a camper.

Where it is
The property sits inside the Coconino National Forest on the Mogollon Rim, at about 7,500 feet. Elk country is on every side of it.
Hunting is not permitted on our 10 acres. This is a base camp, and that is the whole offer. Confirm your unit, your season, and your draw with Arizona Game and Fish before you book. We can tell you what surrounds the property and how long each drive is.
Flagstaff is about 45 minutes north on Lake Mary Road. Payson is about 45 minutes south. Clints Well, about 15 minutes away, has fuel and a general store.
A safe on the property
There is a safe on the property, should you need access. Store anything you would rather not leave in a truck.
A party that drives into town to eat does not have to plan around what is in the vehicles. Tell us if you need it when you inquire.
Room for trailers, side-by-sides, and campers
Parking is the thing most rentals get wrong for a hunting party. There is gravel parking by the lodge and the garage. A second level, graveled area near the gate takes trailers, boats, and towed vehicles, clear of the drive.
Bring the side-by-sides. There is room to unload them, park them, and get them back on the trailer without blocking anyone in.
If you bring a camper, there is space for two or three, each with electric, water, and sewer hookups. Dump on the way out rather than hunting for a station. Fill your water here as well.
Four in the morning
The kitchen is yours at any hour, because nobody else is on the property. There is a full-size range, a drip coffee maker, an espresso machine, and a refrigerator and freezer for what you bring back.
There is somewhere to dry boots and hang wet gear, and laundry with two washers and two dryers. The lodge has a wood-burning fireplace in the family room and a gas stove in most bedrooms.
Quiet hours are 10:00 pm, and a 4am start is not a problem — you have the whole property to yourselves.

Cell service in the forest is unreliable and depends on the carrier. Assume you have none once you leave the property. The Wi-Fi supports Wi-Fi calling, so calls and texts work from the lodge.

The lodge opens in August 2026. These are not here yet. Ask us where each one stands for your date rather than assume it is ready.
- A game processing station
- Planned. A small concrete pad with a pulley, so you can hang an animal and process it here rather than in a parking lot. It drains into the forest. You remove and dispose of the carcass yourself.
How to book
Talk to us directly, not through Airbnb or Vrbo.
Book an ordinary stay on whichever platform you like. An event is different. Airbnb and Vrbo are built to sell nights, and their rules limit what we can plan with you inside a booking. We cannot coordinate an event through a platform message thread.
So email us instead. We answer vendor questions, catering questions, and equipment rental questions ourselves, and we can tell you who we already work with locally. None of that fits in a booking request.
Do this early. Groups that write to us a year out get the date they want and a plan that fits the property. Groups that ask three weeks out get whatever is left.
